What are some challenges you have faced?

I have a full-time job so it’s quite a hard to have enough time to concentrate my own work. But I’ve been trying really hard to finish at least one piece a week.I can say that for people like me, using the spare time effectively is really important to keep their life as an artist. I always bring easy-to-carry art materials all the time and whenever I get some free time I draw on A6-size sketch book anywhere. Once my work is finished, I share it on Instagram and my personal blog to get some feedback from many artists all over the world. It definitely motivates me to work harder 🙂

What or Who inspires you?

My husband who is an amazing artist, the biggest fan of my work and my travel mate always says to me, ‘You should do what you really want’. His loving message of support makes me want to become a better artist. Some of my works were inspired by the drawing of him.

How have you grown and developed as an artist or creative person?

I had taken an art class in a small art studio for three years since when I was 7 years old. It was long time ago but I still clearly remember the teacher. She was very creative and so passionate to teach children. She always tried to find individual talents of students and encouraged us all the time. I also remember she frequently said to us ‘Everything can be an art’. Thanks to her, I think I became a grown-up who knows how to enjoy drawing so much. Also I really want to say ‘Thank you’ to my dad who gave me this wonderful learning opportunity at such an early age.
